10 May - Wednesday. Sun, clouds and rain alternating.

Even though there is no school, we rose early to tag along with our partners as they went to their middle school orientation.

Malgré qu'il n'y ait pas d'école aujourd'hui, nous avons suivi nos correspondants qui allaient reconnaitre leur futur collège pour leur orientation.

We were warmly greeted by the middle school English teacher, Marcia Henry-Allen, an American from Memphis.

Nous avons reçu un accueil chaleureux de Marcia Henry-Allen, la prof d'anglais, qui est une américaine de Memphis.

We sat in on the high school jazz band's rehearsal. Then we went with Mrs.Henry-Allen to learn a little more French and some news facts about France. After that, another teacher and his brother taught us some French songs.

Nous avons assisté a une répétition du groupe Jazz du lycée. Puis, nous avons appris un peu plus sur la langue française et sur la France avec Mme Henry-Allen. Après, un autre prof et son frère nous ont appris des chansons françaises.

The campus includes the middle school, academic and vocational high schools, special ed school and another section for post-high school. (About 2000 students)

La cité scolaire comprend le collège, les lycées (académique et technique), des sections spécialisées et un autre groupe d'après-lycée (Brevet de Technicien Supérieur: BTS). Environ 2000 élèves.

This afternoon, we have more free time with our families. Tomorrow we go back to class. The spectacles will be on friday.

Cet après-midi, c'est encore temps libre avec nos familles. Demain, nous retournons à l'école. Les spectacles auront lieu vendredi.
