29 April - Saturday (Light clouds and sun alternate. Temperature 20°C /68°F)

Today at noon, after class in the morning, we went to City Hall in Louhans. The Mayors from both Louhans and Chateaurenaud hosted a reception in honor of the French Back To Back Exchange. After speeches by Mr. Bernard, the mayor of Louhans and our French teacher, Ms. Patricia Tisserand, gifts were exchanged, we toasted each other .
It was a great brouhaha! Perhaps 100 people in a modest room!

After the reception, we went home for a weekend with our French families.

Aujourd'hui, après la classe du matin, à midi, nous sommes allés à la mairie de Louhans. Là, les maires de Louhans et Chateaurenaud donnaient une réception en l'honneur de l'Echange Scolaire "Back to Back.

Après les allocutions de Mr. Bernard, Maire de Louhans et de Mme Tisserand, institutrice, et l'échange de cadeaux réciproques, nous trinquons, avec quelques amuse-gueules.

C'était un grand brouhaha! Près de 100 personnes dans une salle de taille modeste.

Puis nous rentrons à la maison, pour un weekend avec nos familles Françaises.
