Like many of my French countrymen, I'm very dismayed seeing the wave of anti-French sentiments now coming to us from the United States.
We the French people are entirely in agreement with our own government for a peaceful resolution of the discord between nations. On that ideal, we join the majority of the other people in the world.
I wish to write my feelings, hopping that all of those whom I considered my friends in Illinois will preserve their friendship for us, "your" families in Chateaurenaud.
It is my sincere hope that France will again become your back-to-back's destination!
